Katherine D. Travnicek, M.D. is board certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Pain Medicine. She is board eligible for Electrodiagnostic Medicine. Dr. Travnicek is an expert in the treatment of non-operative spinal disorders and is a member of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (AAPMR), the Society of Injection Specialists (SIS), and the North American Spine Society (NASS). Dr. Travnicek earned her medical degree from the University of Mississippi in Jackson, MS. After graduation, she completed a medical internship at University of Nevada in Reno, NV, and then her residency at The Johns Hopkins School of Medicine in Baltimore, Maryland. Dr. Travnicek was in private practice for 2 years and then completed a fellowship in Pain Medicine at the renowned Cleveland Clinic Pain Fellowship where she served as chief fellow in 2013-2014. She received her undergraduate degree from Northwestern University in Evanston, IL.
